Abstract:
Contrary to what a militating assertion would insinuate, violence is part of the everyday routine
in a psychiatric clinic. Mental disorders remain at the origin of a high risk of violence and even homicide,
including in situations of no substance consumption. On the other hand, justice requires psychiatrists
more and more to assess and predict this violence, understood as dangerousness in an increasing
number of circumstances.
