Introduction. The purpose of the safety measure of medical hospitalization is to remove the state of risk and to prevent other crimes, the discharge of patients being made after the forensic psychiatric expertise states if the risk status has ended and if no longer a risk to commit other crimes exists, using the non-structured clinical trial. It was estimated that if the bio-psycho-social factors that helped or determined the commission of the delinquency, did not disappear or were altered, there is an increased risk of relapse. Identifying these factors and assessing the degree to which they are associated, is the purpose of our research. Method. The study is a retrospective and has included in the database all the 412 patients discharged from “Padureni Psychiatric and for Safety Measures Hospital”, Iasi. It was selected a sample of 170 patients with abnormal schizophrenia types coded F20.0 – F29.9 (ICD-10). Nominal scales were used and for the collection and processing of data we used the digital encoding. Statistical data processing was done with Excel and Statistica programmes, designed especially for medical research. Results. The factor with the highest involvement in the criminal conduct is the discontinuous treatment (93.53%), 85.29% the rural residence and unemployment 87.65%. The pre-morbid personality disorders are present at 74.12% and (47.06%) have justified the facts through delirious hallucinations. Conclusions. The intermittent treatment of patients with schizophrenia type disorders, from the rural area, unemployed and with a psychopathic pre-morbid personality, all these have favoured delinquency.
