Abstract:
More than 1000 titles of scientific research, mostly of follow up and epistemic validated, reveal
the relationship between the mass media programs (especially the television) and behavior. Also,
multiple real cases of misbehavior (mostly in minors and in schools) reveal this relation. The reality of
behavior- mass media relation is known as Werther phenomenon (behavior by contagion from
Goethe's book, 1 774). Contrary, the consequences of the prolonged journalist's strike of misbehavior
are demonstrative. Also, multiply epidemiologic studies show the relation between the watched
violent scenes by young people and watched hours, age, etc. and the U.S. Government has seen many
of these studies. Is the TV promoting a "violence cult" (Comstock))? Is the TV multiplying the violence
risk (Englader)? Has Park's paradigm (negative or twisted information have a cognitive unsettled effect
on behavior) the practical possibility of being prevented?
