The focus of our article is on psychosocial risk and antisocial behaviour, and how schoolpsychologists and teachers can identify and reduce risk factors in order to prevent and diminish antisocial behaviour. We try to bring science and practice together by offering concrete ways of work, based on the state of the research within the fields of developmental psychopathology and educational psychology. Proper interventions should encompass the application of a multilevel, multicontextual and multidimensional framework. This implies a holistic framework, highlighting individual vulnerability as well as multilevel contextual issues. Practical suggestions for school psychologists and teachers are offered.
