Abstract:
This paper features the case of a 58-year old patient who came to the emergency room of the psychiatric clinic, for symptoms including the following: logorrhea, reduced physio-logical need to sleep, irritability, irascibility, intermittent explosive manifestations, gran-diose delusions, mystical and religious delirium, all of which debuted approximately two weeks earlier.
Anamnesis highlights that the patient had been under immunosuppressant medication (Prednisone 5 mg/day, Tacrolimus 9 mg/day, and CellCept 500 mg/day) for 10 months, to prevent organ rejection post renal transplant.
