Abstract:

Nowadays, from the theoretical discussions, transdisciplinarity begins to have important consequences in the development of programs that include consortia of universities, such as the Human Genome Project and, recently, the Human Brain Project. It becomes a necessity to explain human brain mechanisms, structure and functioning from a transdisciplinary perspective including new theories such as fractal theory, chaos and the nonlinear systems dynamics. In this sense, we intend to bring new models and theories based on a principled approach to nonlinear reality and we wish to develop a new paradigm for as-sessing brain function, the complex systems theory, which requires a revolutionary attitude, by rethinking how the brain works and it is biologically structured. Precisely, we intend to study not only the corpuscular, but also the wave part of the matter.
